Private Yoga

Yoga was originally taught one-on-one with the benefit of tailoring the practice to fit the individual mind, body and spirit. Combining verbal instruction, imagery, demonstration, and hands-on assistance, private yoga sessions enable you to explore yoga in a safe, beneficial way.

There are many reasons to choose private instruction. Some are:

  • Assistance in developing a home practice. A home-based yoga practice can be the most rewarding, however, also one of the most difficult to devise and maintain. A home practice consultation will include discussion of goals, a written class plan, and tips on how to successfully apply and maintain your home practice.
  • Take your practice to another level. If you have been practicing yoga for some time, a private session can be an opportunity to ask questions, work on specific asanas, increase your understanding of yoga and deepen your practice.
  • Comfort Level. If you have never taken a yoga class, you may feel intimidated walking into an all levels class. Through a private session, you can ask questions, learn the basics of asana and sequencing, and discuss what kind of yoga would be right for you.
  • Tailored to suit your specific needs. Working with specific injuries or conditions. Yoga can be tailored to fit anyone, regardless of age or ability!
